As we settle into the season, Chinook salmon are continuing to show up across the grounds, with the top side producing some of the most consistent action this past week.

Anchovies have remained the most reliable bait choice, though we’re starting to see more fish respond to cut-plug herring as the season progresses. Another positive sign has been the number of humpback whales feeding, indicating plenty of bait throughout our grounds.
We had a number of standout Halibut caught and released this weekend, most notably a 92lbs, 105lbs, 120lbs and167 pounder!
Brock Huard caught a 24lbs Chinook, and Lingcod fishing was super successful with several bell ringers.
With more fish arriving daily and favorable weather in the forecast, we’re excited to see what the next few weeks have in store.
Tight Lines,
